Memphis Spanish AcademyMemphis is the largest city in Tennessee. Its population continues to grow, including the Spanish-speaking population. During the last US census, 643,122 residents were counted in Memphis. Just over 30,000 people names themselves as being of Hispanic or Latino origin. Of those, most – 22,476 – said they speak Spanish as their primary language in the home. Because of its growing Spanish-speaking community, Memphis celebrates the Hispanic and Latino heritage in many ways, including the Latin Spring Festival. The full-day family festival is put on by Latino Memphis, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the well being of the Memphis Hispanic and Latino community. Latin Spring Festival, otherwise known as the Fiesta De Primavera Latina, celebrates the Latino-Hispanic American culture and encourages the Memphis community to embrace its differences and similarities. The rising Hispanic and Latino population in Memphis is just one reason why your children will benefit from learning to speak Spanish? Why do you wish for your children to learn to become bilingual?
